The Mount Carmel Guild Little Schoolhouse and MCG Cares preschool programs are fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's largest and most influential organization of early-childhood educators dedicated to improving the quality of programs for young children.
NAEYC Accreditation lets families in our community know that children in our program are receiving high quality care and the best early learning experiences available. MCG Little Schoolhouse in Elizabeth is one of the first programs in the country to receive reaccreditation through NAEYC under the new standards. MCG Cares in Newark is currently participating in the reaccreditation process.
